I've always thought Jim was a poor poster but lately he's added this extra layer of insufferablity that is taking him to the top of the board when it comes to my next choice for worst poster.
You have to be a pretty s***** human being to take delight in eliminating a person's livelihood. Most of these idiots are arts majors or something so they can't really relate to having a career you rely on.
Chris Paddack is obliterating A+ just like he was in 2016 and Steamer has him as a 3.67 FIP starter right now. Padres could be a bit more aggressive with him.
Can anyone please tell me they just delete comments from dissenters? I can't believe how many people are genuinely egging him on.
Man, I'd have never expected the likes of Joey Votto and Paul Goldschmidt to return to being good players!
The problem with people like her is that the narrative is all that matters. Just like with this latest TIME cover with Trump and that little crying girl. No one there cares about what's true, they just care whether or not something advances their cause. It's quite appalling how often they get away with it, too.
I have 3 starters ranked in the top 50 overall, Folty who was easily in the top 100 overall before his DL stint and Eflin has been pitching like a top 100 guy since I added him and my pitching Z-score isn't even half of Silvergun's. That's insane.
I think Sheryl Ring is the worst thing to ever happen to Fangraphs.
In an earlier article, she was arguing in the comments with people who were correctly asserting that Fallon Fox is a biological male and that it's unfair that she gets a testosterone advantage. Sheryl's only response? "Fallon Fox is not a dude"
How and why are SJWs trying to infiltrate baseball of all sports. Surely there are worse leagues out there?
E: oh and a central part of her article that seems to be missing here: Osuna has not been convicted of anything yet. But then, when have people like Ring ever cared about the presumption of innocence in cases like these.
And yeah, Osuna decided to agree to the suspension probably because he'd be tied up in the court until that date or later. It isn't an admission of guilt, idiot.
Gruber is just some senile old ******* on the internet. When you react the way you do, it just empowers him because you're giving him what he wants.
Personally, I think he deserves a bit of a time out for that tirade but I'm not a mod.
I agree, I'd rather spite the Yankees than get a good return. I mean, Happ is a FA after the season so they could just sign him in November anyway, but f*** trading him to them now!
If by lofty standards, you mean a basic understanding of the sport they are covering and/or above grade 1 level English, then yes, they sadly fall short.
Not a problem for you, I know, since you're in the same camp they are.
