It's not about the bright lights, it's about the fact that he can expand his brand tremendously in LA. He makes 15 mil off endorsements a year, which doesn't compare to guys like Kobe and Lebron despite being a top 2 player for a few years now. If he goes to LA, he can make at least 30 mil a year in endorsements easily.
