  1. Cool article on Blue Jays 15th ranked prospect.... Frank Viola III http://sports.nationalpost.com/2014/06/16/toronto-blue-jays-minor-leaguer-frank-viola-iii-seeks-rebirth-on-and-off-the-field-as-a-knuckleballer/
  2. I must admit. I love watching his ab's. He can barely hit it out of the infield. But he can work a count.
  3. What about Kenny Wilson? He is on the 40 man. He is one of the fastest players in the org. If you need a run in the ninth and Navvaro is on 1st. Couldn't that be a potential game changer? I mean, literally a designated runner (I guess he can play defense too). I guess that's what I am wondering, if you have the spot on the bench... should you not use it? Even for obscure, but potential game changing situations?
  4. He is still great defensively. If you can have him there for late inning replacement for defense.... wouldn't you?
  5. It might be silly, but it is a rule in the books. I'm just wondering how to maximize it.
  6. I know it's early, but the Jays could be in the thick of things come Sept. I'm not trolling here. I'm kind of wondering how a playoff team uses Sept call ups vs how the Jays have traditionally used them. I guess it's always used to reward prospects and that is how I have always seen the Jays use it. Do you bring up as many pitchers as you can in order to rest certain guys in the rotation and pen? Would you bring up a guy like Kenny Wilson, who obviously does not deserve to be in the majors, for the sole purpose of late game speed off the bench? Do you bring up guys like Dan Johnson and Brad Glenn for bats off the bench? Diaz, Goins and/or Kawasaki for defensive replacements? For a playoff contender, should you have 40 guys up, just in case you may need one of them for what ever situation may present itself?
  7. If the Jays lose... I find it hard to watch sports center the next day.
  8. When do you collapes and not get a high draft pick?
  9. Ok. Not bad. I just got nosed out of $800 and needed to release some venom.
  10. Who f***ing cares? Did you have stake on the Bisons? All you f***ing meatheads that think he's going to fall over and die because he got hit are retarded. Let him get hit. Let him fail. Let him figure it out against the best hitters outside of MLB.
  11. Listening to the game, it sounds like Colby misplayed a ball that would have got him out of the inning.
  12. I honestly don't think there are any realistic pitchers available to us anyhow. There is Shark and Price.... but the cost is too much.
  13. I'm going to say roughly 76.8%.
  14. Rasmus can't get back here quick enough.
  15. Zobrist is 33 ND IS opsing under .700. There is a good chance he is in regression mode. He's been asked to play everywhere and a lot the last few years. Good chance you get destroyed in that trade. In fact Tampa should be doing everything to be trying to make it.
  16. What does this have to do with Moises?
  17. I don't know. I don't really buy the theory that he needs to dominate at each level. He needs better control and he will dominate at any level. Go to the level where the hitters are closest to major league and learn control against them.
  18. Right... and he could be better. Much better.
  19. 3 players I have never heard of.
  20. f***. He'll be 22 in 3 weeks... and GM ECJF wants him in the minors for AT LEAST 2 more years? If he shows more control, he can contribute in a month. Even if he goes up and fails, it's no big deal.
  21. I think if they could do that... They wouldn't be AAAA guys.
  22. Good post deserves more then a thanks. Very good.
  23. Weren't you saying a week ago that Sanchez would likely not amount to anything?
