    One thing is for certain. If the Jays do make the playoffs, there is no way Wilner will ever mention on his show that he refused to call the season over when everyone else was asking him to do so.

    f***. There are a lot of meatballs in this thread that think making the playoffs in the AL East is that easy.... Some great hindsight warriors as well.

    Dude. It's not hard to figure out. They are close to making the playoffs this year... And that is with 3 of their best players out for huge stretches. They have a tonne of young pitching that's already here or will be within the next year. They need a second basemen next year.... and some more luck with health... That's it.

    JP Arencebia just pitched a scoreless inning for Texas. The man can do it all.

    Pillar can flat out hit. I think a Gose/Pillar platoon would be fine. It's amazing how he is mastering hitting in Buffalo. I really think that given a long enough leash he would be rewarded in Toronto.

    Jorge Flores is going to be a fan favorite. Maybe as early as next year.
