  1. You are exactly right. But Wilner isn't bad. He gets a lot of s***... not all deserved.
  2. Too much good stuff not to keep riding him. It's a big if, but the upside is pretty big if he can start hitting his spots.
  3. I can't think of a sport that could make a prospect prognosticator look more stupid more often. Keith Law is bound to get many wrong.
  4. Kid has got potential.... needs work.
  5. I don't think they will cut him loose. Why would they? Is there a better catching tandem in baseball? Navero's one main assignment (MB), is a guy he works great with. There is simply no reason to give that up.
  6. People said that last year.
  7. It's funny watching Pillar bat. He struggles so hard to not be a free swinger. He is showing more patience. But it's a real struggle for him. Travis shows so much maturity at the plate. Battles so hard.
  8. It's going to be awesome seeing him in late August.
  9. Wilner was right.... This team is good. I should never doubted Wilner would lie to me.
  10. Pillar and the Rookie showing plate disipline. Just as it was written.
  11. This guy at the LA Daily News really did his homework. Picks the Jays to finish 3rd in the division. http://www.dailynews.com/sports/2015...-team-capsules Toronto Blue Jays 2014 record: 83-79. Rank In Runs Scored: Fourth. Runs Allowed: Ninth. Manager: John Gibbons. Rotation: R.A. Dickey, Mark Buehrle, Drew Hutchison, Aaron Sanchez, Daniel Norris. Bullpen: Aaron Loup, Steve Delabar, Wilton Lopez, Chad Jenkins, Todd Richmond, Kyle Drabek, Closer: Brett Cecil. Lineup: 1B Edwin Encarnacion 2B Devon Travis SS Jose Reyes 3B Josh Donaldson LF Kevin Pillar CF Dalton Pompey RF Jose Bautista C Russell Martin DH Dioner Navarro/Justin Smoak Bench: OF Dayan Viciedo, INF Danny Valencia, C Josh Thole, INF Ryan Goins, INF Steve Tolleson. DL: RHP Marcus Stroman, OF Michael Saunders, SS Cesar Izturis, INF Ramon Santiago, OF Andy Dirks. Fun Fact: Cecil has six saves in his career, four blown saves.. Fun Fact II: From 2012-14, Encarnacion has 112 homers, 228 walks and 238 strikeouts. Best Case: Dickey, Buehrle, keep fooling ‘em. Worst Case: Young outfielders can’t find footing. Forecast: Third. A fashionable pick until the season actually starts.
  12. Yes... He did manage to get last years record correct.
  13. More then that.

  15. Sorry. I just pasted what the calculator spit out. 90 wins... I believe.
  16. 89.4 wins. I'm using a system called "The Hurl" correction factor (being 1.0779221) to arrive at 89.4. Stroman coming back in September could get us to 90.
  17. I really think Goins is by far the best infield glove on the 40 man. And if you have a 2 or 3 run lead after 7. I'd want Reyes gone a lot of the time... especially in an effort to preserve Reyes.
  18. Last season, before it started I must have wrote down the expected starting 9 like a hundred times. Man it looked good. Of course I expected huge years from Lawrie and Colby that never happened.... But before the season it looked sooo nice. As it turned out I don't think I saw the lineup I wrote down even a single time.... not once. Someone was always hurt. This year I find myself doing the same... and I feel more bullish about it then before last year. So here is what I have. Reyes S Martin R Bautista R Encarnacion R Donaldson R Saunders L Travis R Smoak S Pompey S That's a pretty solid lineup. Can't start the year with it as Saunders is on the DL, but I think the rest are a go. I'm dreaming of seeing it. Hope this year I will.
  19. I'm not sure if it's been said. But do you think at least part of the reason Osuna made the team was because he was so close to Castro... Castro being very introverted.
  20. Delabar will be back. Probably in May.
  21. If th Jays go down this year. I want to go down with the young guys.
  22. I was being sarcastic.... Who gives a f*** what Jerry Howarth thinks. I thought it was so stupid to see it as an article it needed to be posted.
