Notes:
Braves::
Freddie Freeman is hitting .486 (17/35) with RISP, having the best average in that category for the National League
Remember the Yankees? Like them, they have an unbelievable record when scoring first (20-3, 87% win!).
Chris Johnson is hitting well, with a club leading 15 multi-hit games, and he has a 7 game hit streak (as in games that he's started in)
In the 30 regular season games between the clubs, it is evenly split at 15-15, although the Braves have recently taken control, going 8-1 against the Jays since 2009
Jays:
The Jays have a good chance to win if Buherle can keep them in the game. Toronto's coming off 3 wins in their last 4 with the offence turning around and the pitching improving a bit. The Braves are 2-8 against the Jays in the Rogers Center, and haven't fared well so far this year on inter league road games as they are currently on a 5 game losing streak in AL parks this year. Colby Rasmus (who's the older brother of Braves rookie relief pitcher Cory Rasmus) is 5-11 in his career against Hudson, and Bautista's been on fire as he's pushing for a .300+ batting average as he's hit a phenomenal 14/25 (.560!) with two homers and 5 RBIs in his last 6 games
Bonifacio has been improving not only defensively, but offensively as well, quietly hitting .316 in the last 12 games with two homers and much more sound defense.
Adam Lind's 2-5 performance last afternoon against the O's marked his 4th straight game with multiple hits. The lefty first baseman has had multi hit games in 6 of his last 10 contests
Josh Johnson is having his side session here in the Rogers Center as per Shi Davidi. A good sign that he won't miss extra games, and could be up sooner than later
