  1. No kidding. I can't wait until Hutch, Drabek and Stroman all get the call. f*** Dickey
  2. Does he f***ing want a 95+ MPH fireballer? Neil Wagner was that guy. There was K-ROD who was FA who took a MINOR LEAGUE DEAL. Brandon Lyon is only guaranteed 800K this year from the Mets! No one can convince me that AA couldn't get these guys instead of Ismeal f***ing Rogers
  3. The Marlins trade could have been waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better had we offloaded Buherle in a package with Arencibia and kept Buck as a filler until d'Arnaud comes up. The RA deal sucks so bad, top 20 batting prospect (and #2 catching prospect) and top 40ish pitching prospect who were #1 and #2 in our org for a 39 year old knuckler to play in a closed roof stadium How about the damn Aviles trade?! Rogers for f***ing Aviles?!
  4. Bingo. Rogers, who people were s***ing on, struck out 4 in 3 innings. Dickey only got two. His knuckler isn't dancing, nor is it hard. This dude is lobbing changeups up in the zone
  5. I was talking about Schafer, I hate this dude, this whole series he's either hitting extra base hits with no one on or driving in runs
  6. Why couldn't we trade Latos for d'Arnaud when we had the chance?!
  7. See? That's why I hate him. And that 3 run inning now dissapears
  8. No s***, really? Makes sense, the 2008 offense was great and I loved our rotation, Doc, AJ, Litch, Dustin and Marcum right? My only bad memory that I can think of from that year was when Eckstien elbowed Hill in the head.... oh yeah and McGowan's injury
  9. DEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I was waiting for a reason to post lol, 3-3!
  10. No kidding, and it won't cost AA as much to get them vs. their cost at the beginning of the year. One is demoted and the other one is DFA'd
  11. It was heartbreaking in 2009, but there was the emergence of Hill and Lind, and a bit of Bautista in that special September... Rod Barajas had a strong season as our catcher, Scutaro had an amazing year on both sides of the ball, and of course Randy Ruiz, so there were some positives I did take out of they year. This year is frustrating, not as heartbreaking as 2009. Knowing that our players are playing like crap doesn't help. Oh yeah and the injury to Reyes..... and our entire rotation under preforming *sigh*. Also unlike 2009, they shoved the idea of being in the post season down our throats and our payroll doubled. Oh yeah and we burned our farm system too and we know that the future isn't bright money wise, player wise and contract wise.

Dickey (68.2 IP, 31 BB, 7.47 K/9, 4.06 BB/9, .238 BAA, .264 BABIP, 4.88 FIP) [R] http://i.imgur.com/7k9paWb.png SP - Mike Minor (65.2 IP, 14 BB, 8.36 K/9, 1.92 BB/9, .198 BAA, .237 BABIP, 3.27 FIP) [L] Lineups: http://i.imgur.com/BK9yHiH.png Jays Batting: Actual Batting: http://i.imgur.com/SMG6IwV.png Projections http://i.imgur.com/OSvJkyR.png Braves Batting: Actual Batting: http://i.imgur.com/s0QBQmG.png Projections http://i.imgur.com/uigLkBG.png Notes: Braves:: Freddy Freeman had success against Dickey last year with 3 extra base hits, and going 6/9 against the knuckleballer Mike Minor's only against the Jays last year was a good one, 7 innings of one run ball and 8 Ks The Braves DFA'd Juan Francisco earlier today, Jays could be a good fit to land the Dominican third baseman The 32 games between the two clubs in the regular season is split 50/50 as both teams have 16 wins and losses Jays: Melky Cabrera has gone 11/20 playing against the Braves at turner field, and is 1/3 in his career with a homer against Mike Minor Toronto's trying to win 3 straight at Turner Field (dating back to last year vs. Livian Hernandez) for the first time since 2006 The Jays 'Bullpen' start yesterday was great as the 4 relief pitchers hurdled 9 innings of shutout ball, walking only 2 and striking out 11 and only gave up 4 hits. Esmil Rogers made his first start since September of 2011 with Colorado, and he went a nice 3.1 innings walking two, striking out 4 on three hits. Juan Perez took over and got the W after pitching 2.2 innings with no walks, 4 Ks and no hits, the best pitching performance on the night. Neil Wagner pitched 2 innings striking out 2 and giving up a hit for his first hold of the year. And Janssen was lights out as usual having a perfect 9th inning (with a K) for his 11th save of the year Standings: http://i.imgur.com/cb09n4L.png Venue: http://www.andrewclem.com/Baseball/Diag/TurnerField.gif I hope you guys enjoy the game and the GDT! Please leave feedback and ideas/improvements for future GDTs!
  13. Lefty EE, I'm telling you. We can make this happen, and if we can't, still a nice power bat Hmm we have a lot to offer then.... AA better get him and Ackley lol
  14. Yep. Who would it be? Even when Lawrie comes back, Juan Francisco would be a nice bench player, lefty power bat off the bench that can 'play' LF, 3B and 1B
  15. I'm guessing if they DFA him then he'd be eligible to trade? Not sure tho
  16. He's not going to cost too much to the Jays, especially vs. other 3B options
  17. "The Braves announced they have designated third baseman Juan Francisco to open a roster spot for southpaw Alex Wood, tweets David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Francisco began the season in a third base platoon with Chris Johnson, and even started three of the last five games at the hot corner. Francisco, 25, hit .237/.281/.420 in 320 plate appearances spanning 2012-13 for the Braves. They had acquired him in an April 2012 trade with the Reds, for reliever J.J. Hoover. Signed out of the Dominican Republic by the Reds in 2004, Francisco hit the prospect radar a few years later. Baseball America praised his arm and big raw power, questioning his aggressive approach at the plate. The Braves are talking to other clubs about potential Francisco trades, notes Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports." http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/05/braves-designate-juan-francisco-for-assignment.html I say we go for him. I call him the lefty EE, raw power, International FA signed by Reds, plays a bad 3B so they threw him at 1st and OF
  18. I don't think any of them can start though, only reason Ortiz was up here
