Dude you gotta think Francona is going to drive his pen into the ground if it gives him the best chance to wrap the series, especially if worst case scenario he has a home game after an off day. Despite our struggles against newbies this year I doubt he'd want to give the top 4 another look at his soft tossing lefty.

Right? Lindor had a decent lead and its 2 outs so he's running on contact, decent hang time too, maybe a play at the plate but I doubt it.

That's my worry, if we go down like flies the first time around (like we usually do against newbies), that means Francona will probably get 3 innings out of him before switching to any BP arm for 2 innings before 2 innings of Miller and 2 innings of Allen. This is a 5 inning game, we need to strike early and blow out
