    I honestly think that is one of the more attractive things for Shapiro to come here - having having the resources to speed up change and not completely tear down and rebuild but make retooling tweaks here and there. We have come a long way from the s***** black-jersey angry-faced Jays days where it wasn't attractive to play in Toronto and the stadium was half empty. On a side note: I cannot take any AA bashing here! What he did was s*** in the large scheme of things in terms of the future, but he gave us 2 ALCS runs, and replaced Lawrie + Reyes with Donaldson + Tulo. And honestly in the grand scheme of things, if only we didnt pull the trigger on the Dickey deal we would be in much better shape right now imo, even the Miami deal at the end of the day they wouldn't have made a big difference to our ALCS runs

    And thus digging us into a further hole. Doubt Liriano, Estrada, smith and Howell (Lol) will get us anything. If we are rebuilding I expect everyone except Stroman, Sanchez, Travis to be traded off in the next year. However I don't think we need either extreme; we should have enough money in the bank for us to stay somewhat competitive and continue to retool. However I don't think we're gonna see JD here either way for very much longer. I would say the same for Tulo but he has a full no trade so that's a bit harder case

    Why do people get so fascinated with small ball? Sure it's good on paper, but it's boring as f***. I'd rather see teams mash the ball. In 2015 if you'd ask me if I'd rather have the Royals offence or the Jays offence I'd go with the Jays 10/10. The entertainment value of that team was that of a vintage powerhouse
