    It's not my idea, I really could care less if there's a shift or not I'm saying ideas if they want to eliminate it.

    I think something will happen to shifts. MLB always wants more offence and the MLBPA is always up for improving value of players. Preventing extreme shifts like only 2 people on each side of the infield before the pitch is thrown will probably happen. It gives the space to do a 'wheelplay' type of play where as the pitch comes in the infielders can shift into an extreme shift, but liners and hard hit balls will be hard to make on the move

    No way the MLBPA will approve this, this will lower the value of relievers. I wouldn't worry, both the PA and Comissioner will bring up stupid things that won't fly because it's almost CBA negotiations season. I do however approve the no commercial breaks. If you're warming in the BP you should be brought in with no need to warm up even more. Only in case of an injury. speeds up the clock by at least 1 minute each switch

    Yeah but if he already got prepped for a baseball season, there's 2 months left, it's not too far away from home and a chance to win a ring it might just be enough. Hitters ball park and protection in the lineup might allow him to rise higher on the homer list

    His velo is down, that's literally his only problem. He can control his pitches but when his fastball tops out in the high 80s with no movement it's usually hittable. That's why I was asking about Morales getting a shot, he should get one imo

    That's why I said 3 speedsters off the bench. But there's obviously a bigger track record with Revere of being a good hitter and we saw how good he is up here last year. If we give up next to nothing to get him given his good performance last year and his low cost this year and he finds his groove again we're going to profit heavy

    Unless his velo dropped or something we should be optioning Loup to give this guy a look. Last I checked he was doing ok in AAA

    Guys this is a serious question from me, although it probably doesn't make any sense but hear me out: if A-Rod gets cut from the Yankees and released, would you take a shot at him as a lefty platoon at 1st with Smoak? Like I know he's doing s*** this season, but I think playing out of the media spotlight of NY and on a winning team w/ situational hitting only do you think it's fair to take a look at him? With a bench of Lake and Burns it's not like we're cutting someone big and the return might be decent if he hits like he did last year against lefties Obviously this is the kid who saw him tear s*** up when I first started watching baseball in me talking, but it's still an interesting look

    speed off the bench -- he's doing s*** this year but has a great track record, I bet he bounces back if he comes here. And if he goes on a hot streak bump Smoak, DH Bautista and throw Revere in left. That way when the post season comes we have 3 speedsters potentially off the bench, that's great for late innings
