You can use it on your phone, just Wifi like your laptop. This is 100% true because I watched on it last night I'm confident it works on data connection as well here in Canada because it's not a US network, but I haven't tried that -

As in single player/offline franchise mode? No that's still there. Not much improvement because it's not their "money maker", but still as solid as ever with osme new changes: https://blog.us.playstation.com/2018/03/15/everything-new-in-mlb-the-show-18s-franchise-mode/ FIFA I get every year because of Ultimate Team and uniform changes really. Actually now that I think about it, if MLB teams change their jerseys yearly like they do soccer teams, I might have got it early lol

Dude, same here. I bought the last couple on opening day and tbh, there hasn't been much of a difference. I don't play DD a lot, mostly my player and franchise... and given the fact I can import my game, I can play now until the all-star break and pick it up for half price, and continue my progress. The only game I religiously buy yearly is FIFA

At first I thought the mound visit change was BS. But then I thought about it, and like the broadcast team is saying, it's exactly like timeouts. It's strategic to use them, but goddamn I would get infuriated when we see 4 mound visits in a close game in one inning. Limiting them is good, makes them more valuable to use.

No more blackouts in Toronto for the past few years. I haven't needed it when I had MLB.tv the last 2 years. EDIT: Just tried again and now I have MLB.tv access.... Probably a work filter or something lol -
