  1. lol I don't think he's out for the season. He can't be. They've been saying day-to-day for 2 days. Also wasn't he out taking groundballs yesterday?
  2. Nah not really. Donaldson and Martin along with Tulo and Price midway through the year turned us into winners, Kawazaki's 'morale' was there during the s***** seasons and last year lol
  3. Today I was surprised he only got tagged for 3 runs, however there are at least 2 or 3 starts where he looked like he was K'ing a lot of guys but ended up formfitting lots of runs and yielding a huge BABIP. Looking at his numbers right now I also see a pretty low LOB%, in the top 30 starters across both leagues only he, Wainwright (who has really similar numbers this year) and Gray have LOB% below 70%. Also out of all the pitchers on that same list he has the highest HR/FB rate out of everyone by a good margin at 18%. Also I just looked at him vs. Sanchez, and wow. In very similar innings pitched coming into this game (178 Stroman vs. 173 Sanchez) Stroman has a higher K/9 and a lower BB/9. Also generates 5% more groundballs. For some reason, with my eye test I'd say Stroman is getting outpitched by Sanchez, but in very similar innings pitched coming into this game, he has struck out 11 more batters and walked 13 less than Sanchez. Was not expecting to see this at all, he's pitched quietly well down the stretch while the last 3 sanchez starts haven't been really that great
  4. I haven't seen this s*** since the dark days at the end of JP Riccardi/beginning of AA's tenure
  5. Forgot about Smoak. Love your idea, pool everyone in.
  6. Yeah I know but it gives the impression that he's not coming in lol Saunders has been holding a bat wearing a jersey for an inning now
  7. I'm saying with who we have coming up, avoid the DP possibility at all times I'd personally rather Carerra move a runner over to 2ns and put pressure on the pitcher than put hope into Carerra. If he hits a grounder it's a DP, if he Ks the next guy might DP
  8. That's also true, he's hoodied up I don't know if he's available
  9. You have Pillar, Carerra and Goins coming up -- who do you pinch hit? I say Pillar and Goins maybe, see if Saunders can get and Carerra can move him over for Donaldson
