    You're right i shouldn't be surprised, I was pissed when I wrote my post because on my commute I heard Blair keep repeating that Gibbons went with his gut on this, and even Atkins basically said it was Gibbons call lol. I was thinking that the GM should have stepped in and made the decision, but they did the right thing by presenting their side and have Gibbons make the final choice. Shapiro and Atkins seem like very, very level headed, intelligent, people persons.

    Oh yeah I know that I'm just saying I hope that's the plan in place if it's a typical tight game. My biggest fear is the offence, who's starting is a moot point, if we're tied or losing we're getting Britton for 2 games. This is a 7 inning game max, and I'm not including other pitchers coming out of the bullpen for them

    I can't believe Gibbons and Walker chose guts over numbers. PLEASE tell me the plan is for Stroman to face the lineup twice around and pulled for Liriano. PLEASE. Regardless our offence needs to come through (sounding like a broken record I know). I don't care who's on the mound today, we need to score runs

    Dude idk how you guys do the whole birds nest/jurrasic park thing of standing and watching the game with possibly an obstructed view lol. My choice would be either the dome, pub, or home lol. Gotta get clear sight of what's going on, and comfort to match as well!

    Dude I was close to pulling the trigger on ALDS game 5 tickets the day of but I had to write a midterm. I skipped midterm prep for another midterm to go watch the game lmao

So whoever wins the AL WC you have either a Canadian team or a small-market team. No **american** big market teams. So yes it absolutely has to do with the Jays being Canadian. FOH you're telling me if the Yankees won a WC spot they'll play them at 1pm??

    I think I misunderstood what he said. He had Atikins on earlier and I heard him say that immediately after the interview he's calling up Walker and Gibbons and talking to them to make a final decision. Blair came on and said they might find out who it is before the end of the show. I'm guessing he thinks that the decision will be formed and leaked through one of the SN writers before 12

    Can't wait until Jackie Redmond takes his job lol. Seems like Sportsnet are propping her up to be the on-field interviewer soon, she's done a lot of one-on-one interviews with Jays players this year

    Atkins sounds like he's leaning towards Liriano (hes on the Jeff Blair show rn)..... "You gotta think about pinch hit possibilities off the bench as well" Eliminating the kim weapon late in games? "Which ever of the two we choose the other has to be ready to come out of the pen" I have a feeling that Stroman has better makeup of coming out firing strikes from the BP But that's me reading into his statements, he's being tight lipped saying he's getting on the phone with Walker and Gibbons to go over everything and they can't go wrong with either one
