  1. As a group, the Jays hitters should improve over 2023.
  2. Jays should make sure the Yankees don't get Yamamoto. Judge and Soto are great, but without pitching that team is going nowhere.
  3. So Ohtani will make a decision on Sunday. So we have 4 more days of food talk.
  4. Trout without health issues would be top 10, even at 32 yrs old
  5. Much of the blue on his statcast early in 2023 changed to red by the end. He's put the injuries behind him.
  6. Plenty of other targets to pivot to Jordan Montgomery and Bellinger together would be less than the cost of Ohtani and not a lot more than Soto
  7. BA top 50 dynasty provides the answer: 39. Jordan Walker, OF — Walker hit .276/.342/.445 with 16 home runs and seven stolen bases over 117 games as a rookie despite taking a month-long detour in Triple-A. Walker has a high batting average floor, improving approach and plus-plus power he’s still learning to get to consistently in games. Walker could develop into one of the top hitters in fantasy if he takes another step forward in the coming years. 43. Mike Trout, OF — Once the universal top pick in dynasty drafts for the better part of a decade, Trout is now 32 years old and hasn’t played more than 140 games in a season since 2016. Trout doesn’t run any longer but his power and hitting ability should allow him to be productive into his 30s if his health permits.
  8. Soto and Judge be like Trout and Ohtani
  9. You have weird fetishes
  10. He's had one TJ. The recent procedure was not a TJ. But yes there is risk his pitching will be quite limited.
  11. Either underwater or drifting over the Pacific, warming climate = more earthquakes and eruptions
  12. Soto, Cronen, and Musgrove Marlins style blockbuster
  13. Ha, that would eliminate any chance Ohtani signs with the Dodgers
  14. Ohtani and J-Rod would be pretty damn sweet though. DiPoto has something up his sleeve....
  15. I meant in the latter half of the deal Ortiz would be best case scenario. Worst case is the back issues that has led to games lost in 2022 and 2023 worsen and he is hobbled by the time he is 30.
