    You might be too young to remember, but back in the Ricciardi era the Jays were notorious for drafting 'safe' college pitchers over higher risk high schooler's..... to much complaint from baseball forum geeks Syndergaard looks to be the best pitcher drafted by the Jays in the past decade

    Stroman pitched 57.2 IP in 2010 (Duke), 64.1 in 2011 (Duke), and 98+19.1 in 2012 (Duke + Van/NH) Last thing we need is for our #2 pitching prospect to go the way of Hutch

    Thinking about it more, it makes no sense at all to switch Lawrie to 2B mid-season If the braintrust sees Lawrie as a 2B long term, make the switch starting ST 2014!

    And even easier to find an OF with a good bat. If Bautista became a FA, he would be signed as a 3B or 1B. We have an internal 3B solution already, just too damn bad Gose has taken a step back.

    anyone notice hechavarria's numbers have been improving every month, and now are just behind izturis overall? defensively, lawrie 3B, hechavarria SS, reyes 2B, and EE 1B would be best in baseball And the team wouldn't be so old.....

    Last year he did well in LF, range and routes were quite reasonable.
