  1. Regardless of league, the reason is the same.
  2. Hey Spanky, I am beating you in all 5 leagues we are in together, lol.
  3. Tried what? Just pointing out that Bauer is not the only case of a player becoming toxic to a league. Bauer and Kaepernick being the most well known.
  4. Suck a bag of dicks, Spank-off.
  5. Your bald statements are meaningless. If Butker impacts on NFL revenue, he risks being out of a job, just like Bauer. And Kaepernick.
  6. It's baseball related, i.e., Bauer 1,081 reports, and never banned. What does that tell ya?
  7. And what he said wouldn't bother you, but it would bother a large portion of the NFL fanbase.
  8. Toxic to a large portion of a team's fanbase. KC Chiefs are having the same problem after Butker comments.
  9. You've done a complete 180 on Kirk Also, Bellinger has a 131 wRC+, right in line with last year's 134 wRC+
  10. How much are game tix going for these days?
  11. Another case of Astros cheating
  12. There is no owner. You left us in a lurch.
  13. It's called actuarial science
  14. No one is writing off Nimmala.
  15. Small walleye is where its at, yum
  16. To the position that Jansen should have been signed a few years ago, I agree. I was pushing for it. But by the same token, last year or two years ago, Bo would have been at the top of the list for an extension, not Jano. We haven't seen much in the way of extensions by this FO (Berrios, Grichuk, is that it?) which makes you wonder about the philosophy i.e., is it fine/less risk to let the player go to FA and compete for their services then along with all other FA that are available?
  17. The main culprits are George, Vlad, Bo, and let's throw Manoah in there too. The FO has limited responsibility for these guys failing to perform. The limited production by the farm system can be put on the FO to some extent, but we all know the draft and prospects are a crapshoot. The most recent evaluation of prospect success by org that I saw, the Jays were not near the bottom.
  18. I have no f***ing idea where Casino Rama is. But I know where Toronto is.
  19. I saw him in Toronto in April
  20. The team has no mojo. They need a rally sausage or something.
  21. I've read reports that his footwork at 3B was poor. Might be a general issue he has, and if that's the case, LF might be the best place for him. Don't want him all flustered because of errors, affecting his hitting.
  22. It's BA https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/five-early-90th-percentile-exit-velocity-standouts/
  23. Not sure what he has left to prove in AAA. Defensively he should get the LF treatment, though. Orelvis Martinez, 2B, Blue Jays – EV 90 108.5 mph After a bounce-back 2023, Orelvis Martinez is taking another step forward in 2024. Not only is Martinez running the best in-zone contact rate of his career and an improved chase rate, but he’s also posting the highest exit velocities of his career. Martinez’s 108.5 mph 90th percentile exit velocity ranks as the fourth highest mark among hitters in Triple-A who meet the 40 batted balls sample, and it is playing out in his production. Martinez is hitting .287/.367/.574 with nine home runs and a 21.6% strikeout rate. He hasn’t even had batted-ball luck on his side, as his .310 BABIP is quite sustainable. It’s only a matter of time until Martinez is promoted by the Blue Jays.
