  1. Vlad Jr Bichette Alford Pearson Warmoth Zeuch Jansen Reid-Foley Borucki Olivares
  2. Have to reluctantly agree with Boxy here. Jury is still out on Hoskins. Is he a star or just a regular..... TBD.
  3. If Jays put Stro in play, at least half the clubs in MLB would have strong interest. Cubs and Angels for example.
  4. No point in reducing the return that way. Only thing to do is wait out Tulo and Martin contracts when ~$35M AAV comes off the books. And use it then to get some high value free agent. Vladdy and Bo should be high performers by then.
  5. hmmmm its interesting Shatkins has made only minor moves so far..... makes me wonder if they are debating which way to go - retool and compete in 2018, or focus on the farm
  6. Wish there was a downvote option on here. In any event, Dinger is just trolling us.
  7. For Stro, I'd be asking Altherr, Sixto S, and a couple of high risk/reward projects like Kilome and Jhailyn Ortiz
  8. if phillies are going the AA 2013 route, we should happily oblige
  9. we can still negotiate.... have some ideas thrashing my head. would like to know where JBJ will end up would hate to get him and he ends up in some cavernous park like the Astrodome
  10. Watch and learn, folks.
  11. By the time the Jays are good again, JD is 35-36 and the Ellsbury contract has expired. Meanwhile, Gleyber or whoever is just hitting his prime with the Jays as a cost controlled player.
  12. At this point I'd have no plm moving JD to the Yanks to fill their 3B hole, and take back Ellsbury and his contract and whatever prospects that gets you.
  13. What would you do to make the jays better?
  14. f*** the BA + BP lists. Just post todd's
  15. Breaking...... To Little Bigly (P2F) - Ian Happ, Brandon Morrow To Lotta Spooge (Jimcanuck) - Javier Baez, Josh Bell, Travis d'Arnaud P2F to confirm
  16. Spanky says Jays aren't moving JD. Just meeting with Cards for fun.
  17. Def Darvish @ 7/200 + Flaherty / Grichuk / Gyorko >> Donaldson @ 7/200 Don't see the Cards giving up that much tho
  18. Darvish is older than I thought..... thought he was still under 30 Anyway, the thought is the only way JD gets traded is if Shatkins has an offsetting move to placate the (casual) fanbase.
  19. The other scenario is Shatkins is looking for a way to offset a JD deal, that will placate the fanbase. Cargo obviously is not that. Signing Darvish and trading JD is though. I'd rather have Darvish and the prospects from a JD deal, than JD alone in an extension.
  20. Not so sure. Donaldson is the better player right now, and also cheaper to extend.
  21. Lets not stop with Donaldson though.
  22. U have a trophy mantle? How gauche
  23. symborski says alford projects as pillar's equal, longenhagen expects him to be an above average regular. Trade pillar while he still has value cuz he will be s*** when the jays are good again. Pretty obvious, meat.
  24. Nah, i’d Only trade the guys projected to be s*** before the jays are good again or needing a mega contract. Pillar falls into the former category. Alford would be about as good as Pillar, and projected to be above average reg by some. Longhagen or whatever his name is says Alford is better defensively now
  25. He would return at least a B prospect in A ball. Better than nothing. He's a scrub. Jays have internal options might be slightly worse, possibly better.
