  1. for middle class players yes, not so much for the elite guys
  2. whats the reason
  3. need to trade JD for prospects to complement the big 3, sign Moose for 3B and DH when Vlad comes up
  4. Get it right, Boxy was at the bottom.
  5. You just made my day, jerb
  6. I'll pick him up for free again later after you haven't rostered him for 20 days.
  7. Not me. But a friend just posted this on FB, thought you might be interested: Two Ottawa Senators tickets for sale: March 20. Face value $145 each, $290 for pair. Will let pair go for $150. Section 207 Row A Seats 11 and 12.
  8. Yes, I was anxiously awaiting my pick hoping no one else would snag him
  9. Austin Riley This year's Hoskins
  10. Stick around and your questions will answer themselves!
  11. Done.... also, when do the NA and DL slots open up?
  12. Asking the commish for a repick seeing that its not yet 9 am so the draft has not officially started.
  13. Man, I'm feeling like J4L trolled me good here. Cooper a reasonable pick for a rebuilding team - will get opportunity and there is upside. But there are higher upside guys available atm, I realize.
  14. Garrett Cooper - looks like he'll see both OF and 1B time
  15. This guy was my next door neighbour growing up: http://topmarketingusa.com/about/staff/jon-hodgins/ When he was a Rawlings executive he went on a Cardinals broadcast and they asked him if the balls are juiced. He cut a baseball in half, held the two halves up to the camera, and said "see, no juice" true story
  16. All that is true, but even the fittest athlete in the world will blow up his arm if he abuses it. And this is a $100M arm.
  17. Right.... look at Moose. 29 years old, 38 dingers in 2017, good for 2-3 WAR a season. 5 yrs/$50M is what is being talked about? $4M WAR/yr
  18. Only other time an offseason has been like this is mid 1980s collusion years.
  19. https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/inside-camp-jobless-remaining-mlb-free-agents/ Crazy that some of these guys don't have contracts yet....
  20. I understand and have thought of what you say, but this deal was a good fit for my Houston Astros style rebuild. I'll have a good number of high upside prospects all beating on the MLB door at the same time. Plus 3 1st rounders in a deep draft is nice.....
  21. I'm continuing to stockpile high upside guys. Sanchez could be a beast. Newman is a fringy prospect at this point.... maybe a MIF backup. And I won't have room for him come next July. Wacha is a good middle of rotation guy but a fair bit of mileage already on that arm.
  22. I have the #2, #16, #17 (soon) picks in BORED. Your best is #22 (soon). Make me a wise offer so you can land T-Swag.
