  1. I believe Orelvis is K'ing 50% of the time in AAA. That equates to like 75% in MLB
  2. Probably because there is now a book on him (sucker for high fastballs) and easier to make the adjustments in AAA
  3. Nah some statistics stabilize fairly quickly. For example, for a volatile reliever K/BB rate even this early can be predictive of the season to come.
  4. Bo doesn't have the arm for 3B. Nimmala has a 60 grade arm. Bo at 2B, Nimmala at 3B, and Gimenez at SS would be the ideal arrangement for 2027, considering internal options and assuming Bo resigns with an agreement to be the 2B going forward. Kasevich might be the best defensive SS in the org, and could eek out a MLB career similar to Berti.
  5. Along with Matt Shaw and Dylan Crews All 3 guys promoted to MLB too soon
  6. BA has Jays taking HS shortstop Willits, in its latest mock. 8. Blue Jays — Eli Willits, SS, Fort Cobb-Broxton (Okla.) HS As noted above, Willits has a significant opportunity to make noise later this week in a matchup with Ethan Holliday and Stillwater High. He’s a model darling already given his age, performance history and defensive profile. Toronto clearly values the age component and, given their pick of Arjun Nimmala at 20th overall in 2023, this selection would make a lot of sense for them. Willits has a legitimate chance to be the first shortstop off the board, and I could see him in play as high as first overall. At this point, it feels to me that he’s more likely to go first overall than to slide out of the first 10 picks.
  7. If the rumours are to be believed, they are about to do the same thing with Rushing
  8. Nah. They got Zyhir Hope for him, a top prospect and potenial 5 tool player. A nice return for a 1B only guy with average power.
  9. I'm really surprised the Jays did this a week after Vladdy bobblehead day drew an abysmal crowd. The last several years of this deal, the Jays will pay Vladdy to stay home and be Daddy and Grandpappy Vladdy.
  10. The list is dated April 1
  11. Quite the night for Elly
  12. The Rogers marketing machine I'd like to get one for Brownie's kid, will need to convince a friend to go for batting practice
  13. 3 hrs lol. I figured i would be good 1 hr before game time lol
  14. Going to the game, trying to decide tickets. What would you do, section 133 row 4 (close to Jays dugout) or section 145a row 3 (left field balcony, no screen) Prices close enough to make no difference to me
  15. Likely find out today if Cam Smith makes the 'stros opening day roster. Bowden says he will, is Bowden any good? Jays should try to grab Dezenzo if he gets sent down.
  16. Cunning strategy by Atkins.
  17. Good chance he is. Who has him in LOD. Ah, Texas
  18. Who do you pick, bazzana or wetherholt
  19. He dealt with injuries for much of 2024. Then was healthy for AFL and had an OPS of .970. As an 18 yr old playing against guys 3 to 4 yrs older. Age / level is important. He will likely play most of 2025 at AA as a 19 yr old. Power is expected to come as he gets older and stronger.
  20. ST data is useful for gauging whether a player that played hurt and struggled the season before is fully healthy, or a pitcher returning from surgery is back to pre injury effectiveness. I wouldn't read much else into it.
  21. Basallo is the one with holes in his swing. I haven't seen that said of E-Rod E-Rod might be over selective but that is far better than the alternative
  22. I'm happy to be lumped together with pinkos
  23. Running a MLB franchise is simple, huh?
