My understanding is any player on the farm, green flag or not, that exceeds the thresholds must be promoted or cut prior to the NPD. BTS will need to clarify.
Prospects may be kept on an MiLB roster until the following MLB conditions are met:
Hitters: 1000 career PA
Pitchers: 50 career X [where X = GS + 0.5(relief appearances)]
Once a prospect has crossed one of these thresholds, he must be promoted to the MLB roster prior to the start of the NPD (see section 3). If a player has exceed this threshold and is not removed from the owner's farm before the start of the NPD, he will be removed from the owner's roster and be made available in the draft.
You will need to cut down to the roster limits by the start of the season on April 1. We are not sure yet if drops are allowed during the draft, you can either take the risk, make your drops now, or accept my offer for your 1st round pick.
Possibly a greater separation between Sorenstam and her peers then Brady and his. At her peak, Sorenstam could play with the boys, even losing 25 yds or more yards off the tee.
Hard no, especially with BBDL moving to a true dynasty as opposed to a cutdown league. I'm very high on J-Rod despite his DWL struggle (he had a wrist injury in August)
It's a 2 hr flight, in any event the higher leagues will be dispersed - there are tickets to be sold, money to be made.
There will still be plenty of players at the development complex, throughout the year.
Getting Porcello, and sliding Roark into the bullpen as a swingman/6th starter to give Ryu extra time off from time to time, would not exclude a deadline acquisition.
