  1. The fans booed Jansen in the 9th inning for giving up hits...Toronto sports fans are stupid..should be common sense by now
  2. Thats weird, i always though Granderson was a solid defender. Injuries must have really taken a toll on his legs
  3. Thats what I thought but for some reason I wanted to give AA the benefit of the doubt and blame his all in method and preference for veterans all of a sudden on Beeston but i guess thats not the case. I still dont understand how a GM does a 180 on his team building philosophy 2 years in after the team was starting to show promise.
  4. Il always disagree with that, but thats just my opinion I suppose. Maybe its a bit different for the rangers since they have all stars at 3rd, 2nd and SS and we have below replacement level players at multiple positions
  5. Yea it was absurd that they had a gold glove CF in Gardner playing in left field where there really isnt that much room for him to do his thing. Its almost literally the exact same scenario we have here in that Granderson and Rasmus are both capable but average defenders in CF and have star outfielders playing on the corners because they arent established vets
  6. Random question : Was Paul Beeston brought back before or after AA took over as GM
  7. Well you dont use your teams best positional prospect ( I dont think he actually qualifies as a prospect but im going to use the term regardless for arguments sake) as a role player, it doesnt make sense. Normally in an ``all in` season I wouldnt agree with this, but the team is so polarized in terms of talent level that we could DFA about 5 positional players on this team right now and id doubt most people on this board would miss them
  8. I really wish Gibbons or anyone in management would grow a pair and sit Rasmus down and explain to him that Gose HAS to play CF if hes in the lineup because of how great he is out there. I thought baseball was supposed to be the game of no egos.
  9. Well Since this apparently works, Jeff Neiman, Santana, Chisnehall, Betancourt, and any of my s***** relievers are available for a pick. Also Prado is available for a young SP
  10. Am I missing why everyone cares so much about the impact of a 6th or 7th starter
  11. No value is still better than the negative value Marmol will give you
  12. Didnt know a harder knuckler is easy to command, pretty interesting
  13. Dang, I was really hoping Harvey would go with a combo of young players, prospects and picks. Would love to see someone set the market with moving an elite prospect
  14. Of course he isnt, this organization is so full of s*** when it comes to giving timetables for players.
  15. No idea, its always the ignorant ones though with the loud mouths who speak out of their asses

That's the best part of being a die hard fan of a team though, It's good for your soul to invest in something you can't control.

My facebook feed is filled with women complaining how little heart the leafs showed and that they didnt care
  18. Ive always believed that you just need to get it within 5 on the first day of September to make it interesting, so 7.5 games is honestly nothing imo. I think they're going to bounce back and get hot soon, but im obviously biased

So if the Leafs and Rangers both win tmr night, does that mean we get home ice adv over the rangers?
  20. Chris Rose is the best part with his multiple "wtf really" moments.
