  1. Yeah, he's really not an us kind of guy.
  2. Aaaaaand goalies. All courtesy of The Athletic.
  3. The rest.
  4. I am definitely not formatting all of this, so hopefully it doesn't look like an absolute gong show upon hitting Submit.
  5. I'm down.
  6. I think that's the best part about it - that JT does indeed hit it further than Woods does on average. They're statistically close, sure, but Thomas out-distances Woods by a few yards. Tiger's numbers from the last two seasons should also be taken with a grain of salt because he's only played a handful of tournaments. I feel comfortable giving the nod to JT in the distance department. This was merely two friends at the highest level of their sport sharing a laugh together, and it's a shame that cameras caught it and Tiger had to subsequently apologize for it. It's funny and completely harmless.
  7. Hopefully the procedure went well.
  8. I'm quite pleased with my little draft haul: 13 - Cam Collier 40 - Brandon Barriera 53 - Jordan Beck 62 - Felnin Celesten 73 - Sal Stewart - Collier at 13 was an absolute steal, but the draft was pretty loaded as has already been said. - I really wanted Lesko at 40, but happy to walk away with Barriera instead - a sweet consolation prize. - May have reached a tad on Beck, but I missed out on him in LoD and really wanted a share. At that stage of the draft, any consensus rankings can be tossed out the window anyway. - I typically avoid teenagers that are a half-decade away from sniffing the panties of the majors, but felt compelled to make an exception for Celesten. -Got Sal Stewart in both leagues and he seems to have an excellent bat (both hit and power), but he has a Pete Alonso body, so a roll of the dice for sure. Stoked to get him this late in the draft - MF can flat out rake.
  9. Sweet, I'll be in there as well!
  10. This week is another huge event - The Genesis Invitational at Riviera. It's the final leg of the West Coast swing part of the schedule before they start hitting up Florida and s***. Another of the newly elevated events this season with a huge prize purse and TIGER is playing! It should be a good time and borderline must-watch television of course.
  11. Yes, this is the one. He helps with the setup of it.
  12. Scheffler back to #1 in the world
  13. But why do that to ourselves when the other option is to simply wait for the scheduled start time?
  14. Yessir, Hadwin is cooked now. Nick Taylor just may get his third career win today, and it would be hands down his biggest. Also, with this being one of the newly elevated events of the season, the purse would be life-changing for him. I believe it's $3.4M to the winner, so go Nick!
  15. Maybe the best non-major event of the entire PGA season. I trust all golf fans are tuned in for the WMPO this weekend. There are over 200,000 spectators on the grounds today alone. Hole 16, the famous Colosseum hole, was the setting for this unbelievable moment here last year and, who knows, maybe it happens again.

Steelers have 6 as well. Sixburgh.
  18. I trust we all had our Max Homa outright tickets this week.
  19. I guess easy to say in hindsight, but really, he should've laid up and given himself his iron of choice for bird - it's always the smart play on the 18th. The hero shot, unless absolutely sublime, is almost always a par or worse sentence because you're in trouble if you miss to the left, right, front, or back of that green. Sorry, Spanky.

Yessir, since I was, like, 6, but I don't know exactly why it started. They were really, really good in the early 90s, but I'm not sure a 6-year old would really be able to appreciate a successful team, so it might've come down to their colours or logo or something. Anyway, it's remained the same since, though my love for hockey just hasn't been there for the last decade or more. Pretty casual fan at best now. And yeah, it's been a pretty fruitful and prosperous tenure for me as a fan, no doubt. How did you end up a Bruins fan?

Yeah, that's a reasonable comparison. Speaking of comparisons, I guess the Penguins don't quite compare to the Boston model, but what they've done similarly to Boston in recent memory is find solid vets and late-round draft picks that contribute in a positive manner, to help round out their core. Mind you, that core is quite long in the tooth and their window may even be realistically closed at this point. A rebuild is likely impending, so it'll be interesting to see how that goes. My (perhaps biased) opinion is that there's probably at least a slight draft coming in from said window, so maybe there's a ~2% chance the Pens could have one last hurrah with Crosby, Malkin, and Letang if they can keep them on the ice together for a while. Anyway, I didn't mean to make this about Pittsburgh, so carry on with the Bruins.

As much as I'm partial to the f*** Boston mantra, I can't disagree with anything you've said. They do what they do very well, and have for as long as I can remember.
