1. I don't think anything can stop FTJ. This is what he did in his final 59 games in A ball at the age of 18: http://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=sa919910&position=SS&type=-2&gds=2017-06-10&gde=2017-08-19&season= I think he should be the #4 prospect in baseball, but maybe that's just me.
2. Where did you see that he'd be considered a top 10 hitting prospect? Everything I've read has him as more of a borderline top 100 hitting prospect.

I expected this game to be way closer.
4. ^ owns Mayza in LoD
5. It's Randal Grichuk 1.0.
6. There was also this tasty nug from today's Kiric McLongenDaniel chat:

12:27 Sixto: Your thoughts on Nate Pearson‘s upside / long-term role?

12:29 Kiley McDaniel: I may have seen his best outing last spring, so I may be beating the drum of the upside on Pearson for now. Mid to upper 90’s and flashed plus slider and changeup while throwing enough strikes. The scouts were all looking at each other like (choose your favorite OMG emoji). So the upside (which increasingly is less important these days) is soooo high. If he starts or relieves or how close to that level he can consistently get is the question and we’ll learn a lot about that in the next year. Very high variance, along with the new velocity issue that sometimes can cause problems.

8. Thank you. I'd hate to be just like everybody else.
9. When asked to comment on the new extension, the netting had this to say: "The front office kept me in the loop throughout the entire process... I feel a real attachment to the Rogers Centre and I'm honestly really happy to be closer to the fans this season. My lining is in knots from the excitement!"
10. Yeah, $5M is a steal, and palatable even if Grandy suddenly falls off an age cliff. He could pretty easily provide $10-15M in surplus value this season.
11. Shrewd move right here.
12. Nice. That's dirt cheap.
13. Baseball is very quickly becoming a young player's game. Teams are a lot less willing to include their top prospects in trade than they ever were. Edit: Well, that and front offices are more adept at evaluating prospect trade value than they were previously.
14. Jesus Christ.
15. Watch them get Heliot somehow.
