If those numbers are correct, then that would mean the Jay's would go over the 5% allotment. Unless they signed Frasso to a below slot deal. -
IMO this season should play some sort of factor, probably base draft order off teams' record off 222 games combined played this year and last season.

BA's long had a reputation for hyping up the shiny new toy from the most recent draft. This is ironic too coming from Callis, the guy who's too "conservative" to put HoF comps on first round draftees.

Even Kyle Freeland is pretty meh, he was due for major regression after his incredibly lucky 2018. He got that and then some. Kyle Freeland is basically Ricky Romero Whom you could add to that list as well. Edit: f***ing Baubau got to that before me, damnit.

Yeah I just saw that, interesting to see such a disparity between the two stats. Vlad getting pushed to 1B is pretty much an inevitability. Which like you said, allows the Jays to have the flexibility to have 3 guys who can possibly play on the L side of the infield in a pinch. The beautiful thing with adding Martin would allow all those guys to rotate to find their appropriate spots on the diamond.

According to UZR Biggio was really awful in the OF last year, albeit in a small sample of 61 innings. Compare that to 2B where at least he was average. I feel like if Martin gets pushed out the infield, he could likely slot into CF pretty easily. Otherwise he would rep with the other infielders as a utility man to give them a break. The bat should play anywhere.

Martin, then every other guy projects to be either slot, or slightly under slot. No punt picks here. I really liked this draft, especially the Frasso and Britton pick.
