It almost certainly won't happen during the season. But this rule definitely needs some tweaking.

No, I agree with the rule, players can get hurt pretty bad, but there needs to be crystal clear criteria as to what constitutes as an illegal slide. It doesn't seem to be the case right now.

Like....the criteria for a dirty slide is so incredibly arbitrary.

I'm not sure what the criteria is anymore for a clean slide....he didn't overslide, didn't go out of the basepath, is it because he hit him???
