Probably, but his positional versatility would be enormous for this roster. It would allow for a lot more flexibility and AT&T he same time strengthen the quality of the bench by pushing Francisco. It would never happen though.
I disagree. I would move Sanchez for Zobrist. Teams know what value Zobrist provides and it's fairly significant. I'd only do this because he has that option and because I am not high on Sanchez at all. The guys I refuse to touch are Hutch, Stroman and Norris. I would consider moving Nolin in a deal, but I think he can be in the rotation mix for next season and should at least be a slight upgrade over Happ if not more.
Gibbons has been great with the pen. In fact he has been outstanding all around. Running efficient platoons, making late game defensive changes, pinch hitting in key situations, lineup construction. It amazes me some people don't see this. Makes me wonder what they are watching.
Stroman looking good so far. Obviously I would like to see him over an extended period, but I think he is doing a great job of putting those height concerns to rest.
