    Yeah this doesn't really change anything, he gets next season guaranteed and then it's just team options. He was always going to get an extension with 91 Wins, Buffalo home games, plus the players actually seem to like him but if he fumbles with this roster the heat is getting turned up.

    I honestly expected Kay, Hatch and Palacios to get a bit more time albeit getting sent back down. I guess it makes sense though, not a lot of time left and regulars need more work.

    I don't think Austin Martin would of ever been able to stick in CF. Not even sure he could stick at SS, his actions were best at 3B.

    Mitchell noted that they have specifically been video taping Kirks warm ups. I would be ok with Any combination of Kirk, Jansen, McGuire, Groshans, maybe even Biggio. I have a feeling we are overestimating how much it will cost to get him Kirk + Groshans + lower tier guy might be enough.

    Damn I really wanted Dickerson back, the market for Left handed bats is pretty much nothing. I don't think Conforto is a realistic option.

    Not about the money. You are not having surgery without talking to your team and their doctors first.

    Yeah I don't know the timeline but assuming nothing could be done with the lockout.

    Yeah I am in the same mindset. I still believe in Cavan Biggio as a full time player. Save that prospect capital for the trade deadline if we need something. Focus on left handed hitting and more bullpen help.

    I would give up most guys on our top 30 but I wouldn't give up Moreno. I don't think Atkins intends to trade Moreno, the kind of reports we a hearing about him are too good.

    That's not worth it IMO. I think the most I would do is Kirk + Groshans + some lower tier guys like Kloffenstein + Leo Jimenez.
