    Most of the mocks said they couldn't pin down the Pirates pick. Hope that turns out well for Cherington.

    Any predictions for our pick? I am personally expecting us to stick to our 1st round college trend. While the connection to Jay Allen is strong I still think they don't pass up on a big college arm like Ryan Cusick, Jordan Wicks or Sam Bachman. There's also a lot of Buzz about us and Trey Sweeney and we could definitely use a left handed power bat who plays 3B well.

    Might as well bring up Axford and Borucki.

    Jose Ramirez would be a perfect fit but he would probably cost Moreno or Kirk to start since he has two team friendly options. I like that idea more than Cruz, the fear of Vlad getting injured cause the left side of the infield can't throw grows every day.

    Still no real timetable on Borucki or Merryweather and Hatch is a starter.

    I hadn't really been paying much attention to the Twins but they just Outrighted Shoemaker to the minors, he has had an atrocious year.

    Has that Mason Mcrae guy been right about anything? He always throws out speculation and deletes his tweets later. I remember last year or the year before he had tweets about how much Shapiro loved Owen Cassie or Calabrese and told staff to make sure they get him. Then later deleted his tweet.

    Right, now he's just doubling down and like we're using him, f*** it! But showing less confidence in the guys who have been showing improvement like Castro, Payamps, Saucedo.

    Yeah I can't really believe a tweet from a unverified "twitter blogger". I can see them returning for August 20th but still no fans. This is not even a provincial decision, this is a federal government thing whether they want to open the borders or not.

    This is going to have to be a Panik thing where Atkins just takes him away from Montoyo. I just don't get why he can't get him some innings in low leverage situations until he shows better performance?
