    The Twins trade is so strange. The Marlins gave up a MLB asset and a good young arm to get Lewin Diaz who seems to be figuring things out this year but will need to be protected on the 40 man roster.

    They don't "have" to deal Stroman, the guy is literally screaming out he wants an extension and wants to stay in Toronto. With how absolute dog s*** the rotation is with little help on the way they absolutely can sign him to a new deal. I'm very much on the side of hold out to get exactly what you want and if not just extend him. I'm sure there is some posturing there from the Jays but I would in no way rule out an extension. Hell we're paying Grichuk $11 Million for the next 4 years and he's not even good.

    From what the Twins execs are saying, it doesn't sound like they are going to make big trades right now.

    Yea my thoughts exactly, he'll start this and probably be done until the deadline.

    I'm expecting 1 inning stints like Williams.

    To me there is too much uncertainty to pull the trigger early unless we're blown away. The way the NL is shaping up just play it out to the deadline.
