For sure there will be points for these, I didn't put them in the standard bonus points just because how rare they are. I'd say 10 points for the cycle and a 5 point for inside the park

I'm hoping for 45-50 members to take part throughout the season. Had over 60 people make at least one guess last season, and about 20-30 guessed regularly.

Ya I know he was thinking about it. Not sure if it is a standings based, or predict things at the beginning of the season, or if it is an ongoing thing.

Keep it simple, pick a player for the game for a +2 bonus, and picker the winner of the derby for a +1.. Most people on this board love making predictions and stuff, would be great to have some sort of predictions contest of some sort.

Added in 3 triple A games, and took a few other bonus days out. I don't want too many bonus days, there are currently 32 up till the playoffs. I'm thinking of adding something for the allstar game and HR derby.

The way King suggested a few posts ago, it won't be to hard for me to keep track. I will need help when I go out or leave for the weekend, but we can worry about that when it comes up.

If a few people post saying they prefer this, then I'm all for it.

That could work, not too hard looking at previous game and just keep updating. Would have no need for members to keep track or a need for a giant spreadsheet. That or we can better evaluate the point values.

Unless we just trust members to being truthful, or make members keep track themselves, and when they make their picks do somehthing like Monday - I picked Rasmus Tuesday - Bautista Wednesday - Bautista Today i pick Navarro. But this might be making things too complicated, and unappealing to most.. thoughts?

I like this idea, since lots of people don't follow Buffalo, maybe having it only worth 1-2 points is the best way to go.

It's a lot of extra work keeping track of how many people picked who, and how many times. Especially if there are 30+ members playing each week. Might be better to just evaluate the point values?

Haven't given much thought to the players and their point values yet. Maybe bring Melky down to 4 points. Or maybe we impose a limit to picking players to 4 times a week or something? That seems like a lot of work though

We didn't even during the last week, last season. I hope they do this year to give the people of montreal a better game to watch.

Playoff Format: Season divided into 2 sets First Half: March 21st-June 8th. (64 games) Second Half: June 9th - August 20th (63 games) - Top 14 members from each half move on to the playoffs - Winners from each half get a bye to the final playoff round, - 2nd/3rd place from each half get a bye to the second playoff round. - Playoff ties go to the member with the most overall points during the season. - Top 14 members in the second half move on, does not include those who made it during the first half. - Still important for those who make playoffs in the first half, to increase overall points during the second half. Playoffs Round 1: August 22nd-September 4th (22 Members, not including 6 byes) Round 2: September 6th- September 17th (Top 12 members from round 1, + 4 2nd/3rd byes) Round 3: September 15th-September 28th (Top 8 members from round 2, + 2 Byes) Thoughts?

Right now I have bonus days for all weekend games except the first and last weekends of the season. Saturdays are question based, and sundays are option based. Do we think that is too many and should do every other weekend?
