Bolland could be back within the next 2 weeks.. great news!
JVR-Bozak-Kessel
Lupul-Kadri-Kulemin
Holland-Bolland-Raymond
Ashton-McClement-Bodie
would be ideal but since we "have" to have orr in the lineup, I expect holland to be sent down.
Just the thought of Canada being a different country is enough to turn some players away, I'm assuming. Even if Toronto can be argued as a much better place to live than half the other team cities.
- Travel hassle
- Different countries in general (moving families etc.)
- Higher taxes
- roger centre
- perception and lack of knowledge of Canada
- weather in early months?
- Less media fame?
I'm going to go with the two sets.. allows everyone to play all season.
Reset the standings after 81 games, but also keep track of the Overall standings.
"Lance Berkman has confirmed that his playing career is over and that he will retire, reports MLB.com's Richard Justice (Twitter links). The 37-year-old has seen action in fifteen MLB seasons, posting an outstanding .943 OPS over his 7,814 big league plate appearances."
Looks like the Mariners are in play again... I can see them in pursuit of Cruz, Ubaldo or Santana.
Personally I think trades are a better fit for them.. a lot of movable pieces.
