    I'm trying to plan a tentative trip as best I can, knowing it's impossible to be sure about anything If we win the division, we likely end up playing the AL West champs in the ALDS, yes? (can't see us catching KC, and if the Yankees are the WC team and win we don't play them right?) That would put our home games vs the AL West team 1, 2 and 5? Is that right? That would be Oct. 8, 9 and 14. Anyone feel like helping me confirm this?

    Gibby was just on MLB Network He was asked if Stroman might make it back as a starter in September. He said "it's sure starting to look that way"

    It will be eventually. But he's not gonna be a 2 WAR player the next few years. He'll be much better than that for a while most years.

    That's it We can get 5-6 innings into a game with a sizeable lead against KC. Then their bullpen doesn't matter as much. Only ours does and it's solid now.

    JPA 0-2 with 2 K last night. But he managed an RBI (? sac fly, ground out? Don't know). I'm sure he's happy with that. Plus he's there for his defense anyway

    Harper should still win MVP easily in the NL even though his team has been mediocre and will not make the playoffs

    Good dsiscussion I learned some stuff too He's a great bench/backup option At the same time I just don't see them keeping all of EE, Smoak and Cola next year. Not enough versatility even though they can all hit.
