  1. So: 1. Billy Hamilton 2. Hunter Pence or Dustin Pedroia 3. Joey Votto 4. Yoenis Cespedes Ideal top 4 by sterotype
  2. #4 hitter has to be a big guy who strikes out a lot but hits for power
  3. Where did Maddon hit Longoria? 2nd??
  4. In the old days they always did But not any more after analysis has shown that's not optimal Despite that, I *suspect* some players still see it as a prestigious thing. Bautista, despite being smart, could be one of those guys.
  5. Too much sense for it to happen #GibbyBall
  6. Yes. If anyone else moves to leadoff, Pillar should definitely be batting 9th. And yes Goins to 8.
  7. That OBP. He's actually a decent baserunner too. Pillar isnt getting on base in front of him. Maybe he'd do it without complaint until Travis gets back.
  8. Yes Bautista likes to win But he's also in a contract year. His biggest one ever and possibly his last. He wants RBIs. It's what he's expected to produce.
  9. Game 10 Pillar (7pts)- Donaldson (2pts)- G-snarls Bautista (2pts)- Deadpool Edwin (3pts)- LetTheBallFly, Condor13, Trouba95 Tulo (4pts)- vdub Colabello (5pts)- Smoak (5pts)- Saunders - (6pts)- Martin (5pts)- Thole (10pts)- Goins (10pts)- Bench (7pts)
  10. LOL I know It sucks though, most of us loved that guy One of the most frustrating players in Jays history
  11. Dustin McGowan always had "the best stuff in the organization" Well...
  12. He should make himself a better overall pitcher maybe
  13. Dustin McGowan 23.1 IP last year and a FIP of almost 8
  14. I had been thinking about this over the off season... I do give the AA/Beeston front office some props for cutting ties with some of the pitchers we've had fail over the years. I think thy made some pretty good decisions actually in not gambling on those guys and not keeping them around too long.
  15. Rickey Romero has pitched 4 innings in AAA this season
  16. Is Brandon Morrow even pitching any more??? Or Josh Johnson?
  17. LOL me neither. That is probably the worst swing I have ever seen. He was a pretty decent 4th OF though
  18. Cause as much as Stroman probably likes doing this I don't want Gibby having him do it any more. Ever http://41.media.tumblr.com/1301a43479dfaaa51e34113343ee6806/tumblr_na3zcubBpQ1r37slco1_1280.jpg http://cache4.asset-cache.net/gc/454259932-pinch-runner-marcus-stroman-of-the-toronto-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=GkZZ8bf5zL1ZiijUmxa7QU8Q2tBMq9xnokFydf0U8%2FUbabUbg3%2F5FcBWZ%2BZFcrWCvt%2FG8KqD5C2t1MIlWErUew%3D%3Dhttp://wpmedia.o.canada.com/2014/09/blue_jays_red_sox_baseball_2178060061.jpg?w=660
  19. Too many walks and high pitch counts for Hutch even in AAA And so streaky. Almost Romero-esque Ug
