  1. Heck, I'd settle for watching Bautista kick a soccer ball
  2. He meant right fielder. So, Bautista.
  3. Didn't know you were lurking here
  4. Keith Law: ---------------------------------------- Kevin: Hi Keith, Jays Fan. Please tell me Shapiro is smart enough to not pay Bautista for his past? He has averaged about 4.5 fangraphs WAR the last 4 years. What would have been fair value for that? $20m/year? Use him for a playoff run this year and take the compensation pick for the qualifying offer at year end. Klaw: No chance. I think Bautista made Shapiro’s life easy.
  5. Crazy prediction: Aaron Sanchez becomes a regular part of the rotation this season and is not our worst regular starter
  6. Noted I am going to make one too in the Sanchez thread
  7. Smoak was a top 10 at one point too was he not?
  8. Yep And we can stash him in AAA on the cheap if need be
  9. OK Saunders must be f***ed
  10. Really... OK cool
  11. What are the chances of the average comp pick becoming at least an average or better MLB player 3-5 years later? The Cardinals have obviously done well above average drafting. Hopefully Shapiro/Atkins/scouting staff are decent. But when even first round picks don't always even become MLB players I imagine these sandwhich rounch comp picks are all over the place in terms of eventual quality. We also struck out with our Melky comp pick didn't we? Is he the only one we've had under the current system?
  12. No Hopefully Joe got to do her a few times during and after shooting
  13. Wacha is worth as much already, obviously projects better and is making league minimum. Hopefully we hit with our upcoming comp picks if that's what it comes to.
  14. Yeah and their fries and gravy are the BOMB I hardly ever eat there but damn it's worth it every once in a long while
  15. Hopefully not the Sabbathia diet
  16. "He got in touch with the same Duke University physical therapists who oversaw Marcus Stroman’s rehabilitation from knee surgery, listening to their advice about how best to approach the rest of his season. Shortly after it came to its end in Kansas City last October, Sanchez hopped on a plane and flew to Durham, N.C., to work with the Duke team in person, training two times a day, five days a week, with an additional session on weekends. He slowly added 25 pounds to his frame and substantially increased his flexibility and range of motion. He also focused on what he consumed more than ever before, working closely with a Duke nutritionist and having seven days worth of meals cooked for him at the beginning of each week." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I dunno Starting to sound like it MIGHT be legit
  17. No And I won't post any pics of my woman for fear of death. LOL.
  18. LOL Well she's probably all natural but yeah she's a TV chef
