  1. Marcus Stroman leads the AL in innings pitched
  2. But all our starters are 3.3 BB/9 or less, and Stroman, Happ and Dickey are all well under 3.0
  3. Yeah. I think HR and BB are weighted more heavily than K though, in FIP Wow, Jays starters are 13th for K rate
  4. The bullpen ranks 10th for both
  5. As of today, Blue Jays starters have *the* BEST FIP and the 4th best ERA in the American League Impressive http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=sta&lg=al&qual=0&type=8&season=2016&month=0&season1=2016&ind=0&team=0,ts&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=16,a
  6. Yeah, the starting rotation was what had people spooked. BP looked deep.
  7. Only Osuna is allowed to relieve from now on LOL
  8. Thank you Michael Saunders! (And the trade for Bruce not happening)
  9. This made me look him up Revere hitting .123 and has cost the Nationals 0.8 WAR so far. Ouch.
  10. I dunno. Happ was well under 100 pitches and was having no problems. Unless you have an underutilized pen containing a trio of Bettances/Miller/Chapman or equivalent, you let him keep going. Almost every manager would have sent Happ out to start the 8th, and wait for the correct time/matchup to go the righty.
  11. You'll find Fenway much the same. Great atmosphere but it's a shithole physically. Fun though, it really is. (And yes I've been to both)
  12. Good point. The Ontario government won't be contributing Rogers seems content to renovate what they have Yeah it could be a while...
  13. It seems many teams are replacing their stadiums more frequently than they used to. Obvious exceptions are Cubs and Red Sox (sentimental reasons) and A's (financial). But Braves, Rangers, Marlins, others have replaced or are replacing them when the current spots are still pretty decent. I can see Rogers doing the same.
  14. Yeah good stuff An offensive outburst and Sanchez had a good start. Brilliant
  15. Trade for bullpen help in July Expect the offense to get better on its own because it certainly should Pray that the starters remain decent and/or Hutch can make a run in the majors
  16. Blue Jays president 'incredibly confident' in Gibbons http://www.thescore.com/news/1014773
  17. He also had about 50M less in payroll to operate with.
  18. Not as many playing this year
  19. I'll pick Goins if he's starting Barney otherwise LOL
  20. The Goins n' pitchers strategy LOL
