  1. Tigers win 9-3 Series tied 2-2
  2. Vargas tryna add fuel to the fire. Leadoff single, a wild pitch and a walk already. 2 on and nobody out
  3. I suppose Then you still have Gausman as expected tomorrow if you need to play game 5 And extra days off if it works out tonight Or maybe he was just trying to scare them LOL. IDK my head hurts I just want to watch the game
  4. We know how this feels.....
  5. Every Mariners reliever giving up runs
  6. And now a Torkelson double to set the table No one out
  7. Amen No matter how we got here we're up 2-1 and have 2 chances to put them away. With the last game at home and extra rest Gausman on the mound.
  8. Somewhere Alek Manoah is needlessly fuming that he didn't get selected when we all know he'd probably get blasted in New York tonight if he was pitching
  9. Regular season it made sense (and it clearly worked) to keep him from playing too much in the OF These 4 games though, barring injury I'd rather have Springer in RF than Santander for sure. And most of us said it long before Santander missed that ball.
  10. Yes but I think Springer makes that catch most of the time if he's healthy Varsho makes it every time if he's got the same ball to deal with Statcast apparently said the play is 90% catch probability
  11. There's something up with Springer that they're not telling anyone
  12. Had someone read him the box score while he was counting his piles of money
  13. The bigger problem of course was allowing Judge to come up with 2 runners on base Although to be fair Bieber did get robbed of a strike that was critical
  14. It all comes down to how the game goes. If you're losing by 4-5+ runs you don't use him and you keep him to play game 5 at home on an extra day's rest. If the game is tight especially with a small lead and you've used up your trusted relievers than absolutely you should throw him out there. Edit: if you're winning by several runs I still use him because it would be so nice to close it out and not have to go to some of the relievers who got beat up yesterday
  15. On the radio they're musing about using Gausman tonight for a few innings if the score is tight
