  1. He'll be so pissed he'll be unapologetically knocking over cameramen all over the place
  2. Plus the great vibes and PR might actually help attract more free agents than usual. And the team is known to be willing to spend.
  3. Yes but he's def worth the gamble for 1 year 16M (4 of which he was getting even if he walked)
  4. Angels hire John Gibbons as bench coach
  5. I distinctly recall your love of Mark Buehrle as well. You do seem to have a type.
  6. My favorite thing with Yesavage was that he played pretty much only against good teams BOS NYY SEA LAD And mostly kicked their asses Want to see him carve up the A's and Twins and Rockies
  7. Tatis Jr contract. Ouch. Salary details by year 2025: $20 million 2026: $20 million 2027: $25 million 2028: $25 million 2029: $36 million 2030: $36 million 2031: $36 million 2032: $36 million 2033: $36 million 2034: $36 million
  8. Yeah he just doesn't seem like a likely target at all
  9. What a year Best record in the AL but hardly any individual award winners George was great. But what a team effort overall.
  10. IDK Fine with keeping Bo and adding another starter and closer I also think Santander bounces back big this year
  11. OMG that's horrible
  12. Varsho prob the only one that's notable but he more than makes up for it in every other way
  13. It's official: ----------------------- Munetaka Murakami To Be Posted Today By Charlie Wright | November 7, 2025 at 9:26am CDT Japanese third baseman Munetaka Murakami will be posted by the Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball today, reports Jeff Passan of ESPN. The slugger will have 45 days to reach an agreement with an MLB team, beginning tomorrow. Murakami has long been expected to make the jump from NPB to MLB following the 2025 season. He’ll now officially become one of the most intriguing names on the free agent market. Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette were the only hitters to rank ahead of him in our Top 50 Free Agents list. The 25-year-old Murakami has been one of the preeminent power hitters in NPB over the past seven seasons. He launched 56 home runs in 2022, breaking the single-season record held by Sadaharu Oh. Murakami slugged 246 home runs across eight NPB seasons. Since Murakami is now 25, he is considered a professional under MLB’s international free agency rules. That means he’s free to negotiate with all 30 teams without restrictions. Players who make the move to MLB prior to turning 25 are considered amateurs and are subject to the international bonus pool system, which significantly limits their earning power.
  14. Vladdy has excellent reflexes, an excellent arm, and good defensive instincts. And he's maintained a better fitness level. So yes you could CONSIDER playing him at 3B again but I'd only do that if Bo leaves and you want to add offense via a 1B only player as you say. All things considered probably won't happen.
  15. Lord knows Aaron Boone could use a calming influence
  16. Yeah rhey may not add anyone from outside. Schneider/Walker/Hale/Popkins seem pretty tight knit.
  17. Or at the end of April...
  18. He's available after the Mets cleaned house
  19. You know an extension is going to happen Whether you like his decision making or not, the front office and the players seem to love him
  20. Sign the extension before Nov 18 While everyone is still high on the post season vibes and can't wait for another s*** at it together
