    I don't even know who to cheer for Rays or Orioles. Both options are distasteful. It's nice to see the Rays plummeting back to earth. But it's not nice seeing the Orioles soaring like this. I guess just win our games and see what happens

    Holy s*** Orioles beat the Dodgers. Rays have lost 4 in a row and now are tied with Baltimore for 1st. And they play each other this weekend. Jays only 5.5 behind both

    Hence why they usually select organizational guys for these short stints and let the actual prospects develop in the minors where they should be. They abuse the guy then send him right back down. Or something like that.

    I don't think Boone is a good manager at all but this year's failure is clearly more on Cashman. How much more leeway does he have with the Yankees front office?

    5.5 games behind WC3 with SEA, NYY and BOS ahead of them and CLE 0.5 games behind them With no Mike Trout for the foreseeable future. And a very tough schedule in August.

    When you're so scared of the backlash that would come from trading an icon than you let your return for him dwindle to a draft pick. And miss the chance to trade him for a haul that could have helped your team 10 times more.
