  1. @Athletics: #Athletics place Josh Reddick on the disabled list; select Daric Barton from Sacramento; release Jordan Norberto
  2. Shhh. Keep that on the down low. We need to sneak up on the Red Sox. Let them come at him.
  3. Someone should stealthfully fill his Red Bull cans with Vitamin Water when he's not looking. Edit: I vote for Bonifacio to do it. If it doesn't work, then Lawrie might pummel him on to the 60 day DL.
  4. That's just awesome. Gose stealing home during a pitch. LOL. Surprised the crap outnofnthe camera guy I think. Better video quality on the Bisons page: http://www.milb.com/multimedia/vpp.jsp?content_id=26916465&sid=t422
  5. JP doesn't like being pinch hit for...
  6. @jonmorosi: Charlie Manuel tells @MLBNetworkRadio that Roy Halladay "is going to be ok" and has a "real good" chance to pitch again in 2013.
  7. This board takes more time to read! Almost every thread and post is worth reading How refreshing! It got so bad in the old one I'd check in several times a day and see nothing worth reading
  8. He did the same thing against the Braves when we had him last year. Might have been spring training but I remember it distinctly. Just becomes a stupid show off who makes mistakes when he thinks he has something to prove against an old team or something.

    NHL Thread

Possibly not Brodeur will finally be retired Luongo just crumples in big games Subban nuh uh Fleury may be the best bet unless a new young hotshot emerges Could be bad!
  10. Coincidence. I never go to Bleacher Report. It's just sort of an obvious question I guess.
  11. Knee??? Cause of how he fell???
  12. Yeah but Melvin >> Gibby in terms of platoon management
  13. Holy bad taste but a good point. This forum rocks.
  14. @JonHeymanCBS: Roy Halladay will be addressing the media about his as-yet undisclosed shoulder issue before this aft's game in SF. #phils
  15. I don't want to get too hopeful, but he/Jays may have dodged a bullet here.
  16. Excellent Per Shi Davidi BTW
  17. I've also asked these guys for an opinion. Hopefully they answer the tweet @keithlaw @Ken_Rosenthal Curious re. your opinion: Most likely to bounce back and make playoffs - Dodgers, Angels, or Blue Jays???
  18. All three teams had very high expectations going in to the season. All three have atrocious W-L records so far as we all know. Jays 13-21 Angels 11-21 Dodgers 13-19 Only Houston and Miami are worse. It's incredible really. So who turns it around and who doesn't. And why?
  19. Better yet, I think he's been running off on everybody too. Fewer guys swinging for the fences on the first few pitches and more patience/selectivity overall. Good things can come of that.
  20. He is literally the only Blue Jays player who even remotely deserves to be there as of right now. That makes the choice an easy one for Sparky unless someone else on this team (Bautista, EE, Dickey, Morrow, Melky) REALLY gets it going over the next month.
  21. Agree. And that's a lot of "ifs"
  22. @ShiDavidi: In statement released through hospital, Happ says: “I’m in good spirits, I definitely appreciate the support of the baseball community ...Happ continued: "...It’s been overwhelming the messages and kind words I’ve been getting. I just want to thank everyone for that "... and I look forward to getting back out there soon."
  23. You know what? He's probably really lucky he got hit right on the ear. It must have hurt like Hell and it bled a lot but that's WAY better than getting it on the forehead, temple or the back of the skull.
  24. @BlueJays: MEDICAL UPDATE: JA HAPP left last night’s game after hit on left side of head by a batted ball and was taken to hospital for testing. @BlueJays: He was responsive and doing well after suffering a head contusion and a laceration to his left ear. @ShiDavidi: #BlueJays say JA Happ "doing well" after suffering a head contusion and laceration to left ear. They anticipate hospital discharge today
  25. @TBTimes_Rays: #Jays Happ says he's in "good spirits," looking forward to "getting back out there soon." Could be released today http://t.co/QbPdjLjr7k
