    Amazing 7 year span. Didn't have a real MLB season until age 25 though and he's already 32 Howant more great seasons is enough to call him that?

    Right If he'd take a Matt Olsen contract you'd do that in a second. But he almost certainly wouldn't agree to that. If a team offered you a great prospect haul half way through this season you'd be justified in doing that. But no team is at all likely to do that. Not a great position to be in unfortunately

    Someone needs to tell Atkins that there are players who are good at both hitting and defense. He seems to feel he has to chose one or the other. Heck, it's even spreading among the guys we already have. Guys who used to be good at both (like Springer) can't hit anymore. Way to go Atkins.

    IMHO Rogers prob cares more about making money than winning World Series titles Making money doesn't REQUIRE winning World Series titles but fielding a competitive team that's actually fun/exciting to watch with players people like to cheer for certainly helps. With this team right now they are at serious risk of losing viewership (and therefore $) and have virtually no chance of winning a World Series. Bad position to be in, especially after investing all that money in facilities and payroll.
