    I do think the IQ is a bit of a problem. Base running in wrong situations and ill advised throws sometimes. I suppose you can say that's just over enthusiastic too. Either way it's a problem.

    I agree with you. I don't think he's selfish. I just think his incredible enthusiasm is a bit blind at times and his baseball IQ is lacking. Needs the right coaching. But he's a team player.

    I agree totally it would be silly for the Jays to pursue However, I see why they are considering trading him. They think it will cost a fortune to keep him beyond 2014 and would rather get a young cheaper starter in return plus fill another position of need while they're at it. That said, I doubt he gets traded. I don't see a team giving them what they want. If Tigers are having a poor 2014 I could see him being moved at the trade deadline though for a lot less.
