    Right The good news? He knew (and still knows) that we need a better 2B and another starter The bad news? He failed to do so out of some combination of: - bad luck (Kinsler trade) - too much despairing (Santana) - unwillingness to give up too high of a price in trade (Price, Shark) - Rogers sudden cheapness - Beeston's personal squabbles (Drew) #1 is bad luck, number 2 a bit dumb, a bit unlucky, #3 probably smart, #4 is worrisome, #5 is full derp
