If you don't give us a quality start on Tuesday he gets your job and you're going back to the pen. So give us a great game Dustin!"

    Hutch and Dickey I agree I'm worried we won't get a full productive season out of Morrow

    He doesn't instill much confidence though He's so frustrating to watch. Prob still my favorite starter on this team because of the ceiling, but his starts can be so maddening. The inefficiency can drive you nuts.

    Yeah I don't know what they're waiting for now really. McGowan has pretty much already proven he can't handle the workload of being a starter right now. I REALLY wanted to see him succeed as a starter, and I might be tempted to give him another 2-3 starts just to see, but I really don't think it's going to work.

    I know. Did he mean it? If so, why the f*** did he let every single FA starting pitcher go elsewhere? If he didn't mean it, why did he say anything? Every single person in the game and every fan knew he needed to improve the rotation and he didn't. Massive stupid fail.

    Me too. I generally hate scapegoating, but Mottola always seemed like the wrong firing if you were going to fire somebody.

    Good effort by the offense in the 8th and 9th at least. They didn't give up. Pitching just dug too deep of a hole

    Well over a huge sample size (we're talking almost a month of an entire team here) FIP and ERA should be reasonably close I would think?

Part of that improvement will come internally. "Any way we can improve the rotation, we would do that.
