    Rangers are probably not going to make the playoffs this year. Gallo is a beast and will likely skip AAA. Adrian Beltre is 35 years old, and still very good, but they may not have a need for him anymore and he's due 18M next year. I'd love to have him and the Rangers MIGHT be willing to move him mid season if they're out of contention. What a great fit for 2014/2015 and move Lawrie to 2B permanently. 1B Encarnacion 2B Lawrie SS Reyes 3B Beltre What would the Rangers want for him???

    So... Francisco pretty much going to single handedly cost us this game 0-3 with 3K 2 errors (whether they were called errors or not) Hate to over react but...

    I think they were close to one They had a killer starting rotation. Had they done the smart thing and gradually turned over stars like Utley and Rollins and others for youth, and drafted better, they could have had some sustained success. Instead they got one WS and a couple of playoff fail years. And now all those stars are old and overpaid.

    Any chance Gallo gets a callup in September this year? He's 20 years old and seems likely to jump AAA. Also, on a related note... Are the Rangers going to keep him at 3B, and if so... What would they want in exchange for Adrian Beltre??? He's 35, but still excellent, and would fit will for us second half 2014 and in 2015. Also, Rangers are pretty much screwed for this season due to injuries. Little chance of playoffs. Might make sense to trade him. I have to admit I have fapped to the thought of an infield of 1B - Encarnacion 2B - Lawrie SS - Reyes 3B - Beltre Would there be a better infield in the AL?

    Although a good outfield arm may not be worth a ton statistically it sure is nice to have a few of them. And it's not always just the guys gunned down at home, but holding runners. Witness multiple plays where runners hold at third because of Bautista's arm. Also note we essentially won a game in Detroit because we knew we could run on Rajai Davis.

    Just watched a highlight reel of his best throws of the seasonn. Damn but he's got a cannon for an arm.

    I just saw the full play of that Cespedes throw to home. The GIF doesn't show the whole play. It's worth noting that the runner was only going home because Cespedes misplayed the ball in left to begin with Takes nothing away from the excellent throw itself but the runner should have been held at third

    Agree Though it only matters if you get a quality 3B who hits better
