    Holy smokes. I was poking around a few news sites while watching and saw that northern Italy got hammered by a storm today, with 74cm of rain (almost 2.5 feet) falling in 12 hours. That's just insane!

    Strongly disagree with taking Scherzer out there. Worked out, but probably not the right move.

    He had better BP options later in the year. Early on he managed sort of like the Rays but didn't have the bullets to do it with.

    Yeah, but to be fair Stanton thought it was gone too (sure looked like it off the bat). The real error is Stanton standing there admiring it.

    Well, I mean one of the games involves the Rays, so viewership will already by lower. If they're willing to overlap the evening games on Friday, there's no reason not to have the Rays play game 1 at like 6 est and the Astros at 8 est or something.

    I think Biggio is a LOT better than people are giving him credit for. It's hard to find someone like Semien though. I'm not sure anyone on the market right now could be a replacement for Semien at 2nd.

    I don't like the idea of signing a guy coming off that kind of career year normally, but this is basically a repeat of 2019 so that makes me at least a little more comfortable with it. There's a TON of great free agents this year. We have choice.

    I still think there's going to be a strike. The two sides absolutely HATE each other.

    Huh. Can we put a stipulation in that he's not allowed on social media?

    I hope the Yankees win the WC game and sweep the Rays. That's the best punishment I can think of for Cash's management in the 9th there.
