    Apparently he has some kind of injury or something, but isn't having any luck in getting it resolved.

    It looks like it's 75% increasing into the 90% range during the game (and basically the rest of the night). I wouldn't be surprised to see PIT - DET get rained out either, although the rain looks like it'll be a little lighter than the Nats - Reds game.

    Fields seems like a perfect guy to have available in September and possibly the postseason as a base stealing threat and defensive replacement.

    Pearce is the weak side of a platoon effectively. I don't think you want a young player playing twice a week. I do think he's unnecessary on this team even with that in mind, but whatever.
