  1. I think the pressure defense in the playoffs was more responsible for the change (and we saw all the turnovers, which kind of confirm that). Regardless, you can either adapt or go home, and the Raptors didn't adapt. Ultimately I think that, rather than the exit to Lebron itself, was what did Casey in.
  2. Biagini is likely a better option than all of those guys, and almost certainly cheaper too. Regardless, Kazmir has an arm injury, Lackey retired, I think Feldman is recovering from knee surgery, Jimenez and Garza suck ... a lot (not quite Tillman bad, but close).
  3. Mayza got luck big time with the spin on the ball just curving it away. That was absolutely labelled for his head.
  4. They are hitting the ball hard off Happ. The DP by Cruz was 115 MPH, and Cano's single was over 113.
  5. I wonder if they're doing something different with the Rogers Centre mound this year? It seems a lot of our guys are having trouble throwing strikes in the first at home, which makes me think there's something different between the bullpen and game mounds.
  6. How does Tillman still have a job?
  7. Refs blow a call at a critical moment, Boston advances.
  8. That Segura single was hit harder than Teoscar's home run.
  9. They need a wall of shame (and they shouldn't get to keep the ball).
  10. Josh went, but I'd really like to see MLB change that rule to it always being the 1st or 3rd ump's call unless they didn't see it for some reason.
  11. Interesting, I expected Oh to become the new closer. Have they announced who will take over that role?
  12. Could have been a hell of a lot worse.
  13. We know Osuna had issues last year with anxiety, etc. If there was more underlying mental illness that wasn't reported, it's certainly possible that he simply snapped.
  14. Let's hope so, but that's yet to be determined. If anyone was going to no hit us, I'm glad it was a Canadian.
  15. Maybe, but in the past news outlets typically had SOME process in place to investigate before reporting. Social media has no such thing, just a bunch of loud mouths trying to use everything to further their agendas.
  16. Batters seem very comfortable in the box against him, and they're putting good swings on the ball. He either needs to make them a little more uncomfortable, or maybe he's tipping pitches.
  17. Lol, was quickly scanning and did a double take when I thought I read Al Bundy.
  18. I think I ended up taking Nola and Snell.
  19. To be fair, there WERE a number of people suggesting he should be traded last offseason because he value was high and he was a reliever.
  20. You absolutely can.
  21. I would assume Oh would become the closer.
  22. Even if he comes back, we might see Rogers force management to trade him.
  23. Something to help offset the Osuna news: https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-vlad-guerrero-jr-just-hit-home-run-off-tee/ Bomb to the opposite field, off a tee!
  24. Yeah, I've been eyeballing that too. Not sure what I'll do, but that cost is insane.
