Local boy, Cal St. Fullerton guy and no one drafts more CSF guys than the Angels. It's not that unreasonable to think they'd take a chance on him.

Eventually intentionally throwing at players (assets) will slow down to almost nothing. One of the biggest problems is that players who grew up in the era where throwing at a player is acceptable are now announcing. It's the same reason that so many fans think JPA is a good hitter. I'm probably in the minority among people my age but I'd rather see a guy be inappropriate than players thrown at. -

Pretty much yes. Striking out five and getting five ground balls. One was thrown away, two didn't get past the pitcher. of his 5 K's two were in the 3rd and two more in the 4th. 3 walks...couldn't care less if he's getting weak contact. It's still just one game but it's probably his best since his no hit effort in his pro debut

I don't think there is anything safe about Wilson. He's just an older version of the athletic, project-able OF's we once had plenty of.

Had this PM'd to me. Not something I know about I saw a function on baseballreference.com where it gives you a link/code to embed. Looks like so; I've seen people post some cool stuff like twitter feeds, any way to do it with these? I think it would be pretty awesome to make a thread for the various DDL minor league systems. If you wouldn't mind passing this request along, I'd appreciate it. -

At least it won't be a shootout as then the Leafs would have zero chance. Detroit blew a 3 goal lead in the 3rd in game 6 and came back and won.

Nick and I will be unbearable if the Leafs lose this. Not sure if it was actually a legit question if it is let me know. I have different buttons as a mod so I actually don't know

Wow...just wow. It's still just a tie game. I've seen teams come back only to lose many times before.

The balls are different as well. Pitchers on rehab starts get to pitch with MLB balls. They are both Rawlings balls but I believe the MILB balls are made in China. I think the MLB balls are made in Costa Rica or something.

I don't think there is one now is there? The rule just states graduated from high school. Harper got his GED and went to some junior college to get eligible a year early. If they go to an international draft it's going to be interesting as I think they will have to make 17 the age (which will finally even out the age at which international players reach their 5 years after signing).

especially since San Fran leaves Wednesday night for a Thursday game...in Colorado. I think the entire 2 game series was so they could have a 4 game series with Oakland (playing 2 at each stadium)

I'm leaving for a cottage on Wednesday morning and play ultimate on Tuesday night but Giants are a team I'd normally go to as it's not that often. I did get to see the Giants in Chicago already this year though.

The top of the Reuben division just got a little mustard, at the time of writing the division standings look like Speedygose 45-34-5 TheHurl 43-34-7 Dinger 42.36-6 to sit 2nd, 6th and 7th. Although the two best records are in the same division both with 50 wins
