    If permaban'd it should be noted that we can restore the 1260 post count...but not the number of thanks. Don't think that's not a motivating factor in just re-instating now.

    Here is the series of posts. NJH was sent a message as a result of the banning asking him to cut it out and things would be worked out. Something went wrong and suddenly none of us can moderate anything with NJH's account. He's not even searchable anymore. We are awaiting on Admin to sign on.

    Just so some know what's happened from a Mod's side of things. There were some odd things about NJH's account, GSnarls sent him a message about the ban and let him know he'd set up a timer on the ban and explained why it happened. Somehow NJH's account is coming back as blocking all messages (no one should be able to block messages from mods). It was set up so he could still access the blog...but that didn't work. Now I can't moderate NJH's account at all. We are trying to see if others can. Once Admin is back on I'm sure we'll get this settled so at a minimum NJH can access the blog.

    A very good choice, based on every stereotype I follow, NJH's dick is much easier to suck than Stroman's.

    I think they would much rather use them as part of a bigger package to get a starter. They are trying to keep Taijuan and get a top 25 starter. Only way they do that is probably to include Seager, which would probably move Franklin to 3B. Which is a disaster but Jack Z does nothing which makes sense. I'd rather try and deal them Dickey and see if they move someone.

    They aren't going back that direction until this regime is gone. It just makes no sense to make the moves they did to start over.

    I think a lot of people are under-estimating what the M's are asking for Franklin and Ackley

    I'll word it in a very different way. If you consider someone to be a troll (ie. posting just to garner a reaction), try ignoring them. Don't engage them! I personally don't mind conflict, I just hate it when it spreads out over multiple threads and sparks from a normal post their rival might have.

    Cards gave over 500 innings to rookies last year. No one should be holding back rookies because they think they should be competing. If they have the talent, or at least more talent than what the options are...put the rookies in.

    We banned 2 this week and at least 30 overall, we don't moderate based on a couple people's opinion of a person, or by who they were on the other board.. I haven't been on as much as before but in the past week or so we've had a lot of reported posts about Moh (some from very good, very respectable posters. From what I can see, he's getting a little repetitive and posting on more threads but at least he's not breaking our rules of starting new threads. We may have a talk with him, but then again we might not. Mods will discuss it on our board.

    Me and a buddy were trying to come up with a legitimate deal for Trout and wondered if the Angels could actually do it. We discussed Miller, Carpenter, Wacha and Craig. Never looked too close at the value difference through the arbitration years but if you don't consider Carpenter to be a 5 win player it's probably pretty close. Neither team would probably listen to it.

    You mean you aren't good with a middle infield of Goins, Macier with Tolleson, Schimpf or Laroche backing them up?

    I picked him up in a pool once I'm guessing it was 2010 in the Fantasy Challenge.

    I don't think anyone is questioning Goins defense. I was reporting on his D and how good it was back in May. The two things people are questioning is when people talk about him having historical defensive range and whether his defense will be good enough to make up for an inept bat. Over a full season Goins would be a positive defender for certain.

    I'm completely making it up. I have no idea if he can defend or not. I just saw a Ryan Goins post and thought I'd throw that in. I highly doubt he's a great defender if he's spent time in LF

    I'll say it and might get ripped for it...might be the best defender in the org. Hard to believe with Goins being the best defender ever.

    He started his sign on process in September. They want baseball people, Boxy lost out because of his fantasy performance.
