  1. There were nudes of Al? Time to look back through the thread
  2. If AJ was in the future plans at all he should be up. Being around big leaguers and getting to know the pitchers. September is like pre-spring training for catchers. Even if they aren't healthy enough to get into a game. AJ is on his way out I'm sure of it.
  3. which one has gone from reliever to starter successfully? Shelby Miller did it in September after putting in 140 innings in the minors. He was starting the next year. Wacha was in the pen for 6 games only as well. Carlos Martinez ended up back in the minors to try and build up his strength to start, and he's struggled to last more than 5 innings a start. Rosenthal never made it out of the pen. The only recent guy I can think of that made a nice transition from a full year of being a late innings guy to starter is Chris Sale. The longer anyone is in the pen...the tougher it will be to get them back to starter.
  4. on one hand I understand what you are saying as he was good for us. But on the other hand, I can't stand keeping relievers on the 40 man who aren't in the majors. It's been one of my biggest pet peeves of AA's. So if the Jays don't think Delabar can get it back enough to start in the majors...sorry he should be gone. Why wait until March to dump him?
  5. Not until I looked her up. Never heard the real name...I just know her as the girl from Parks and Rec.
  6. I realize that a Sanchez pitching average as a starter is probably equal to him pitching great out of the pen...but I don't mind keeping him as a late innings guy or closer. His lack of command and swing and miss rates will likely end up exposing him if they convert him to starter. He's looking comfortable where he is now and might have 1.5 fWAR type numbers over 60 innings. That upgrade is probably more on any reliever than it would be on Sanchez over the 5th starter or even the best in the minors.
  7. and here come the photoshops. This is beautiful
  8. That Winstead girl and Aubrey Plaza are still up...I can see their agents now saying "this is awful...let's just leave them up for a few days and see where it goes". Seriously who are these people? I have the full Upton album now. The sextapes are awful...and Verlander needs to shave. Now reading that it wasn't Upton's phone that was hacked...it was JV's which means those other nude girls probably just cost him Upton.
  9. You are too late...most of the links are now dead. Follow along at "The Fappening" http://www.reddit.com/r/TheFappening/comments/2f44n0/new_celeb_leaked_pics_all_in_one_place/
  10. assuming I'm not the original hacker...now how do I turn off my computer?
  11. The question now becomes, what do you do in March if both Norris and Sanchez earn their spots on to the roster. Both in the pen? More likely they send one down (Norris) and await an injury (assuming an injury/injuries hasn't already happened both are in the rotation). FO and Rogers will take the "they are being cheap waiting for the Super two deadline" beating. They could have easily said a month ago that Norris has X innings left this year and then we are shutting him down and waited to add him to the 40 and made much better excuses next season. Building expectations and disappointing fans is something this team/FO has got quite good at though.
  12. I put NSFW...and kept it baseball related (I have the links to the Arianna Grande, Jennifer Lawrence, Hope Solo, Alison Brie, Brie Larson, and brie cheese) . Really much better than what you can expect the guy that once posted a pic of Ang f***ing his burro.
  13. I'm sure there are more.
  14. I realize this is only opinion, but I think now I have AA sort of figured out. He's so far over his head and nothing he did worked. So now he's looking at successful organizations and trying to copy them. First he started with the Red Sox and his attempts to bring in character guys and moving prospects through the system slowly. Then he tried the Dave Dombrowski/Pat Gillick and the huge splash trade. Then it was St. Louis and their usage of pitching prospects in the pen. Now it's Oakland and TB and their use of platoons (which may not be the case it might have much more to do with their inability to hit lefties early in the season). Of course all along the way he forgets about the most important thing to copy from many successful organizations is that you need to extract maximum value.
  15. http://www.breakingblue.ca/2014/01/16/blue-jays-true-talent-offensive-platoon-splits/ About 2200 PA's are needed to know a true talent of handedness. So Mayberry may not be (likely is not) a true talent 130 wRC against lefties. But I think we can say that he's better against lefties than Francisco, Lind and Gose. The biggest part of this deal is the Mayberry's I believe will become the first father/son to play for the Jays. And we can hear Buck talk endlessly about his best friend and long time teammate John Mayberry Sr. Shoot us all now!
  16. nice move. I can't wait for him to have a good week and then the Jays establish he should face righties.
  17. Wrigley has an amazing updated clubhouse. edit...What I read was the proposed clubhouse it hasn't happened yet.
  18. Reyes isn't moving from SS so all of this means nothing.
  19. Are we just continuing on yesterday's GDT?
  20. Buffalo losing 3-2 tonight. Could end this silly talk of keeping Gose there.
  21. I hope you wouldn't have a bench cause you'd probably need 12 relievers.
  22. Tom Runnells...Jeff Torberg.
  23. aren't you just the king of fecal related nicknames
  24. because you have the benefit of knowing the results it's tough to argue that. He gets the double play that he has many times...and no one thinks about it ever again.
  25. This team is laughable. That was just a horrible decision to make that throw.
